Charles "Chuck" Nagy is a photographer who has been shooting photos professionally for over 3 years. He specializes in both natural light and flash photography, and loves to shoot a myriad of different subjects - from people and food, to commercial and product photography. Chuck's journey with photography started back in 1985 when he was in vocational school for graphic design. It was there that he first got his hands on a 35mm camera, and it wasn't long before he fell in love with the art form, but life got in the way. After being furloughed from the railroad in 2020, Chuck picked up photography again and quickly re-discovered his passion for it. Today, Chuck is the staff photographer for the non profit organization SAY Detroit. He shoots both personal and commercial work throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond. Clients have included Motor City Harley Davidson, Motown Harley Davidson, Hatorando Sushi and Sports Bar, DoorDash, Dieselmatic, Talkiatry, and many more. Chuck's work has been published in several independent publications as well the Detroit Free Press. He is a photography instructor at the SAY Play center in Detroit Michigan. Chuck is also a member of the Michigan Press Photographers Association and The Professional Photographers of America. He looks forward to helping you capture and preserve your memories to be cherished for a lifetime.
